Dear Sir, I am using Linux Mint 6, therefore this code is not compatible.

I am also a newbie with Linux thus could not translate the code into Linux compatible commands. It would be most helpful, if you could provide the Linux equivalent...

Not the best example

Can I suggest changing the example to something that doesn't require Windows users to be installing extra clutter onto their harddrive, only to then tell them that it's not actually necessary because the standard library covers it?
