    Ah, Larry Wall is God! :)

    Well, I believe they’re introducing many breaking changes in Perl 6 to the extent that Perl 6 appears to be a whole new language rather than being a descendent of Perl 5. Many Perl 5 programmers tend to express relief when told that Perl 6 would not be available anytime soon. What do you think?

    I agree that Perl 6 is complex, but as Larry says, it’s a moving target. The most important thing for me is how easy it is to use/port existing CPAN modules to Perl 6. According to my very limited knowledge, that’s not easy, so I’m not as enthusiastic about Perl 6 as I am about Parrot and Pirate.
