Biyani …. A man who in real terms changed the outlook of our country with respect to the RETAILING FORMAT prevailing here since then. His store BIG BAZAAR allows middle class people like us to to take the products at an affordable price. I really got impressed after reading this book. HATS OFF KB

I just got back from a one-month family visit/trip to India where I, too, discovered Pantaloons, Big Bazaar and KB’s autobiography, “It happened in India.” Needless to say, I am full of admiration for the man. I want to add something to the long list of his accomplishments that is not at all mentioned in the book: he has given the average Indian shopper a clean, hygienic environment to shop in, something we in the west take for granted but which is still hard to come by in most of small-town India. I hope many others will follow his example. There is room for a 100 KBs in India. Kishore Biyani is truly a trailblazer!

I think “Rewrite rules, retain values” should be the idea behind all organizations. Its such a simple statement… but still very powerful
