The Simputer is a brilliant concept from the professors at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. It is a low cost alternative to PCs - a small handheld computing device which runs on Linux designed to help IT reach the common man. It costs just around Rs. 9000 and it allows you to to play mp3s to surf the internet. Better yet, the Amida Simputer has killer looks! Here is a list of features that will leave you dazed!
